Hi, at the end of my video I have slowed the movie down, and added music, but
the sound on the movie can still be heard - slowed down! Is it possible to
mute the movie - just for the few minutes of slowed down movie, but not for
the whole m ovie. Is that possible?! Thanks for any help.

Of course it is.
Use timeline view.
Split the clip where you want it to mute and where you want to hear it
again.
Then right click the audio section where you want it muted and click MUTE.
