Adding Multiple emails to Contacts

I often recieve emails that I would like to link to contacts. I understand
that I can right click the email - select options - add a contact. But I
would like to do this a little more efficently and in bulk if possible

If I am viewing and grouping emails by "Category" I can simply drag and drop
an email to this grouping and have it added to this Category so...

If I set up a custom view (which I have done) to group emails by Contact
(not "From")
It would be nice to be able to simply drag a new email to this grouping and
have it automatically add the "Contact"

Is this possible?
