just set up my windows live mail and i have managed to put all my email
accounts on there which is great as i dont' have to log in to several diff
accounts, but i just wondered if its possible to merge all accounts into one?
at the moment i have several inbox's and outbox's and it would make life so
much easier if it was all on one. Anyone know if this is possible?
any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Use the Windows Mail program that came with Vista, it is much better in this
regard.

Take a look at the Quick views at the top of the left pane.
Right-click on it and click on "select quick views"
There's an All Inbox selection

If you don't see Quick Views, click on "View" - "Layout"
click on "Folder Panes", click on "Show Quick views"
Apply

I prefer WM because all my mail from 7 accounts goes directly to my one
inbox, mail from known senders is then redirected to created folders by
Message Rules, any other mail usually goes to Junk or Deleted items.

I detest the folder list and the display of unneeded folders, in WM I can
click on the Folder Bar to see them when required.

All mail uses only one Outbox, Sent, Deleted and Drafts Folder, "INSTEAD OF
7 OF EACH" any regular sent mail is moved by applying manually my Message
Rules to Sent Items.

I do not use Hotmail at all so I do not need it locally, I can delete the
spam from my Live ID using my PDA.

I do like the back end naming of newsgroups in WLM.
