Just bought a new laptop which has no Windows Office \professional on it
which I need. I have an older MS office 2000 Professional set of original
discs I purchased that allowed me to an upgrade from Win 98 to WinXP. Is
there a way of transferring MSoffice 2000 to my new laptop using the discs I
have? When I try to install the error message says no current MS Office
program on the computor.

Help!

If you have an upgrade version of 2000, you must have a qualifying
product..a previous full version of office.

MS Office 2000 runs under XP ( I have it) but you must have a full install
CD

And make sure you have uninstalled any trial version of Office, before you
attempt to install any other version of Office.
