If you don't get a "Found New Hardware..." popup when you boot Windows
XP with a new peripheral, use the Control Panel's "Add Hardware" applet
to install it.
Check your peripheral's documentation (user guide, startup guide, manual
etc) carefully, as some peripherals require installation of software
BEFORE you attach the hardware. I've never worked with a Bluetooth
adaptor, but I would expect to find it listed in the Device Manager
under Network Adaptors instead of Modems. Again this should be included
in the manufacturer's documentation. A button to reach the Device
Manager can be found on the Hardware tab of the Control Panel's System
applet.
Have you checked the Bluetooth adaptor manufactirer's web site for FAQs
and other customer support services?
