Adding mailboxes with different settings?

I have several outlook Microsoft Exchange server mailboxes attached to my
profile. I have my mail email (my own) and several generic/general boxes
added (they show on the left as "Mailbox - *name*" etc.

Can I have different "read" settings for each one? Is this possible in
outlook?

In my own inbox I like all my messages to show as read immediately after I
click on them. But for the generic boxes I can't have that. I can't figure
out a way to have different settings.

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Rachael

It's not possible to change it for secondary mailboxes. Get in the habit of
using Ctrl+Q on your mail as you read it instead.
