Is there a way to add a link while doing a mail merge in
Outlook?

Perhaps. It is not possible to say without knowing your Outlook version.
Is there some reason you have discovered it is not possible?

I'm using Microsoft XP. I tested out the link before
merging it with all of my records and it was fine;
however, as soon as I merged it with my records and sent
it (thank goodness it was a test), the link didn't work.
In fact, it didn't even look like a link at all (no
underline or blue font). I've tried setting a hyper link
(with the word "here" as in click here) and just pasting
in the whole link. Both ways did not work.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Keep going.
List the steps you used.
List your message format.
