Adding karaoke-style subtitles

I shot a film of a group singing a song but the lyrics
are unclear at times. I would like to add karaoke-style
subtitles (complete with "bouncing-ball" or similar such
marker). Is there any easy way of doing this? A 3rd
party tool/plugin?
