You can do this with Outlook, but you have to use the Exchange Server's
Distinguished Name (DN) for the mailbox using the form:
/o=EXCHNG_ORG/ou=EXCHNG_SITE/cn=Container1/cn=Container2/cn=Alias

Alternatively, you can unhide the mailbox, add it, then hide it again.
