Adding a folder to File Dialog boxes

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to tweak Windows to add a folder to
the left side of the File Save/Open etc dialog boxes? Normally Windows
XP lists predefined locations, such as "My Recent Documents", "Desktop",
"My Documents", "My Computer", etc, etc. Is it possible to add my own?

Yes, you can customize the Places Bar. That is the vertical button
bar at the left-hand side in the Open and Save [As] dialog boxes.
The following explains how to change the buttons to more frequently
used folders:
