Adding a fillable banner to Outlook e-mail

Not sure how to describe this, but I have created a table in Word that
has a picture and some text in the first row, a blank second row and a
third row with text. I want to be able to add this entire thing to an
e-mail message to clients and add up-to-date text in the middle row.

When I cut and paste it into my Outlook e-mail, first I get an ActiveX
warning, then the table and text comes in OK but the image that is
behind the text in the first row is no longer centered up nicely in
the row; it's off to the left and down behind the rest of the table
and noting I can find seems to get it back to where it belongs.

Is there a better way to create something like this and place it in an
e-mail?

Also, one of the lines of text I have in the top row is supposed to be
a link to a web site, but it does not appear to go anywhere - no
activity when you get near the link.

I can send someone the file if that helps you to see what I want to do
with it.

Thanks!

I am running Outlook 2002 - maybe I should upgrade? And I don't have
Word set as the editor, I just created this banner using Word as I
thought that was the only way to make something that could be added to
by the client. I am pretty lost on this and have just been fumbling
around the past couple of days trying to make it work

Try using Word as the editor. I'd expect better compatibility. You could
create the table in the email message with Word set as the editor and then
save it as Autotext to use later.
