Events are designed into the application. You would need
to persuade the developer to provide them. Have you
checked all the settings in "Options" or "Configuration"
for those applications? Usually, sounds can be associated
with events within the application itself.

I'd like to add more specific events, like when a
specific program opens or completes a specific task, to
the list of generic events available.
Is this possible and if so how?

What I'm looking for is a way to add a new event that I
can attach a sound to.
>For example: I use Nero to burn CD's.
I'd like to add, to the event list, the completion of a
CD burn procedure so that I can attach a sound to it.
