I am relatively new to Win2K pro. I have setup a new
computer and am in the process of adding the end user's
domain account to the local administrators group. When I
choose the domain, it takes an extremely long time to load
the users. It has taken over 10 minutes to get to the
middle of the alphabet. I remember running into this issue
quite some time ago and believe there was a service to
turn off or some fix to make it find the domain user
accounts faster. Can someone direct me to the fix or
instruct me on something to speed up the looking up of
domain users?
Thank you.

Is the domain login delayed as well? The client's side DNS server IP should
point to the one of DC and 'ipconfig /all' provides the info needed.
