How do I add a new clip to a collection? Whenever I try to import more than
one clip from my camcorder, it creates a new collection. (Even when I click
the box that says "let the wizard create clips".) No matter what I do, I
can't seem to get more than one clip in a collection.

Just a little more info about this problem. I am using Windows Movie Maker
Version 5.1
When I follow the directions in the capture section that say:
"To capture another video clip, repeat steps 1 & 2." When I do that it puts
all the video I capture into one long clip.

Unfortunately this is the way Movie Maker works. It will create a new
collection for every clip you import or capture and then if you want them to
be in the same collection you have to drag them there.
Papajohn says when Vista comes out you will then once again be able to
import multiple clips into a single collection.
