Hello

I am currently using PowerPoint 2003 and was wondering if it is possible to
animate a screenshot. If so, how do I go about it?

Specifically, I am trying to create a slideshow demonstrating how to do
something on a particular software. I have a screenshot and I want the
animation of seeing where the mouse is clicking, where text is input, etc - a
bit like some interactive demos on some websites using a flash movie.

Hope that makes sense. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It can be done but its a lot of work. Basically you need to rebuild the
software's users interface in a PowerPoint slide and then use animations.
Have you considered something like Camtasia to simply do a screen capture of
your software in use?
