What causes the hardware wizard(win98, Win2K and Windows
XP) to add a folder to the installation path that drivers
are to be installed from?
Example: the path is E:\Win2K when the hardware wizard
read the folder it added E:\Win@k\Win2k and states the
files cannot be found. Explorer show that the original
entry is the correct path for the driver?
Loading the driver on another system has no problems
finding the driver.
Once this happen on a system. The only way to correct the
problem is to reinstall the O/S. Is there an easier way to
correct this issue?
