I am new to web desinging. I changed the Index page by adding a new button
to a new page. Also changed the font on the Index page. the new button has
not shown up after publishing. But it shows up on a few of my other pages
and the new page is there. The new font has not shown up either. However,
now when i make changes to other pages, the changes show up but I can still
not get changes on the Index page to show up.

maybe you should post the URL to the site.

you might have the incorrect configuration for the index page for your server... index.htm, index.html, Index.htm, Index.html that kinda thing.
