I like you have been using AdAware SE for years, but alas with the end of the
updates [the last one was March 30th] the time has come to move on. I hope
you have an other product, like Defender, in play. I would not suggest using
AdAware SE beyond the end of April.

I too hope someone will answer the question you have asked and give feed
back on the latest Lavasoft product, AdAware AE. I know that AdAware 2008
was panned pretty badly. If we get feed back that is stable and reliable and
plays well with others I might be willing to give it a try.

So, Anybody, Informed feed back on AdAware AE ???

Tim

Thanks guys for the feed back, I might try some of your suggestions, also
going to check out Lavasoft forums to see what folks are saying, will let
the group know what their saying.

One thing I don't like about it is that if it finds something it
stops. Then after you clean up the problem, you have to start the scan
from the beginning again. On the other hand it does seem to scan
faster.

I wouldn't bother scouring the LS Boards for negative feedback as they are notorious
for "post pruning" - save yourself the time.
(All due respect to LS)
