Hi all. I've been trying to figure this out for months, but to no avail.

On my primary IE, the add-ons show that they are enabled, but do not show up
as toolbars, no as an option to to check on under the View - Toolbars.

When I click over to another profile, and open IE, the toolbars DO show up.
It's as if they are being blocked by something from showing up AT ALL on my
main profile.

I was going to just start using the other profile, but all of my "favorites"
and settings are in my main account, and I don't want to have to recreate
everything on my back up profile.

Does anyone have a suggestion to remove the "block" or some way for me to
really get my toolbars (add-ons) re-enabled? I have removed and re-installed
several times. Again, the system knows they are there, they just won't show
up.

Thanks, Leah

In the profile you are having issues with, in IE go to
http://toolbar.google.com/fixmenu Close all other browser windows. Click
the button there. Close IE, restart IE and see if that helps.

Or download and run this file:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...lbarRepair.Exe

These should set all toolbar settings to their defaults, so you may have to
do some re-arranging after using them.

Thanks for the help Jon, but they didn't work. The link for google doesn't
work and the second option didn't repair the problem.

I appreciate your help though.

Jon.. you're my hero! Your suggestion didn't work, but I decided to download
google toolbar to see if IT would show up. In the installation process it
found something blocked, and by telling it to ignore that, it restored all of
my toolbars. Thank you so much!
