I am trying to use Themes and also add Stationery to Outlook 2007. When I
click on the >tools>options>mail format tab>stationery and fonts the themes
or stationery is not install. I have looked everywhere to install this with
no luck. Yes I have word 2007 as well. When I use the themes that are on the
computer I have to apply each color, font etc which is basically creating my
own theme each time I use e-mail or word. It wont even set a default theme.
HELP PLEASE!!! -C

I have looked on many message boards, including this one. All help in office
2007/outlook 2007, and even tried the online tutorials that microsoft has. I
have repaired both my outlook and office to make sure they were melding or
whatever they do to see if they are on the same computer.

I have been working on this for a few months now on and off. I installed it
on a new vista home premium computer with new office 2007 and outlook 2007
software. As I am typing this something has occurred to me. Is it that my
Office 2007 Home and Student edition has something in it that prevents
Outlook 2007 from hooking up the themes options?

It is exactly that. Currently for Stationery and Themes support Word and
Outlook have to come from the same SKU meaning; an Office version with both
Word and Outlook in it. I believe this is currently a bug and not a "by
design" restriction. When I first reported it to Microsoft it was suggested
to run an Office Diagnostic and see if it is solved then. I'm not sure if
SP1 (currently in BETA) will fix it though.

I want to chime in here to say that I just installed Outlook 2007 yesterday
and it was not part of my Office 2007 Student and Home and I too am having
difficulty with no stationery or themes. If there is a fix I sure would like
to know ASAP.

There is no fix - themes and stationery are not included in the standalone
version. Themes are mostly a waste in email anyway.
