The dictionary I am writing has the defined word/words in TNR. The rest of
the definition is in a different font. Is there a way to find the end of the
TNR text for each defined word or phrase and add a space there?

Use replace with the wildcard option set to locate

([a-zA-Z]{1,})
format > font > Times New Roman
with
\1[space]
where [space] is an actual space.

The above assumes single words
