I must be missing something obvious, but how can I get the sent date to print
when I print out an e-mail from my sent folder? My name appears at the top,
and I see the "to" and "subject" lines, but no date. Not very useful for
filing purposes!

Thanks--

It works just fine for me. Would you like to guess what version of
Outlook I run and what format I use by default to send email?

How about you tell us what version of Outlook you run, and what format
you send in? Cheers.!

NB: It works in Outlook 2007 in plain text and html format (never tried
rtf format).

Oh, sorry! Duh.

I'm using Outlook 2007, HTML format. Outlook 2007 seems to launch a
mini-Word editor. In past versions, I chose not to use Word as my editor, but
it seems to be somewhat automatic in 2007. I'm still exploring the program,
though.

Cheers for the info - I also don't use Word as the editor (though the
options to select that seem different in Outlook 2007?). Anyway, it
works normally for me, and I can see that by just previewing the print
job.

What do you see when you do a print preview? Do you have another
printer to try it out on? (although I don't think it's a printer
character set issue).

Interesting question! I tried using print preview first, and everything was
there. Then, when I printed, everything was there too. It's as if it's
suddenly fixed itself.

I guess if I run into this again, I'll try doing a print preview first,
though I'm not sure why that would make a difference. Go figure.
