I start it up, click on "next" and it immediately hangs and goes to not
responding. Any place to set permissions or policies on this?

Check that the 'Task Scheduler' service is running. If not check Event
Viewer for error details.

I've never had anything but grief when trying to run that applet. It will always appear to hang when
enumerating all executable applications on your system. This always takes too long.

I normally schedule scripts or BAT files. The simplest way to setup a new task is to drag
the script file into the Mstask GUI. Once the JOB icon appears, right click and open its properties.

I'll try this. The weird thing is that the applet works immediately with
some profiles, but hangs completely in others.

Thanks for your reply. The weird thing is that it works fine for some
profiles, but hangs in others.
