hi
when i try to use the add/remove windows components feture in control panel
it says 'setup library msmqocm.dll cannot be loaded or function msmqocm could
not be found.
Contact your system administrator. The specific error code is Ox7e.

Im not sure if its linked but when i try to install shockwave from
macromedia i get so far then it says i dont have permissions and again,
contact system administrator (ive posted this elsewhere but any help would be
appreciated!).

I am the system administrator - i only have one Computer Administrator
account. Ive created a new one and still have shockwave prob.

I dont really want to reinstall - im running XP Media Centre which was
preinstalled -so dont have installation disks. Ive got the original full XP
Home previously installed on my old pc which i could use but didnt want to
start from scratch.

Any ideas on the two probs above??
thanks for any help!

sorted the add/remove bit. downloaded a copy of the .dll file and placed it
into the system32 folder (found it on a google search). Still no joy with
the shockwave prob tho... any ideas??????

>> 'setup library msmqocm.dll cannot be loaded

Click Start/Run, type "%windir%\system32\dllcache" and press ENTER. Select the file "msmqocm.dll" and copy it to the "%windir%\system32\Setup\" folder.

Where %windir% represents the location of the Windows folder.

thanks, i have sorted that part myself.
any ideas on the shockwave prob? all my security permissions for the
macromedia folder allow 'full control' yet it still denies me access due to
'You do not have access to make required system configuration modifications.
Please rerun this installation from an administrators account' Even tho i am
an administrator and all other adobe/macromedia installs work. macromedia
wont help...

Checked this FAQ item in particular?

How permissions affect installing the Shockwave Player with Windows 2000 and XP
If you don't have administrator access to your Windows NT, 2000, or XP-equipped computer, you may not be able to install the Shockwave Player successfully. Permissions can be tricky, but, in general, you should be able to install and use the Shockwave player if your administrator gives you full access to the Macromedia directory: C:Winnt\System32\Macromedia\ for Win 2000 and NT, and C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed for XP.

If this does not allow you to install and access the Shockwave and Flash Players, your administrator may need to experiment with varying levels of restriction to determine what works. Shockwave 10 is not compatible nor supported with Windows NT
