Add Remove Programs, Windows Updates

      17th Jan 2004
I recenly went into to control panel to "add/remove
programs" option. I was deleting several unused programs
and I discovered every MS software update (XP Hotfix) was
listed. Does anyone know if I need to keep these update
files? Thanks.

Yes, you need to keep them.
If they are removed, so is the fix.
However the uninstall files can be safely deleted:
