Hi,
Sounds like you just went ahead and deleted the program folder, and now it's
still showing in add & remove. Bad move, as you've likely made things worse.
The uninstaller is looking for supporting files in the deleted folder, and
since it can't find them it wants the original installation media. A nice
catch 22 if you've lost or sold the disk.....
First check the recycle bin, if you haven't emptied it the program folder
may still be in there and can be restored to its original position. Then you
should be able to remove the program properly. Failing that, you may be
stuck without the original installation disk. I would check to see about
replacing it.
