Hi all. I have a strange problem with the add/remove control applet
in WinXP home. When I click on this applet it displays a list of programs
that I can uninstall from my computer (that's not the problem). The
problem is that the list has about 100 blank lines (estimated, did not
count the exact number) between two of the entries. The 100 blank lines
change position depending on how I sort the list. If I use a 3rd party
uninstall util (like myinstaller), the list of programs looks fine (no
blank lines). I checked the ...\uninstall reg key but did not see 100
blank entries. Can anyone help me correct this issue and get rid of the
blank lines?

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but that's one kind of problem
that the registry cleaner in Ace Utilities always fixes for me.

One of the entries is damaged. With an alphabetically sorted list, you
might be able to figure out which one is damaged, remove it, then
reinstall if needed.

Hi all. After following the advice of Ramesh and going to kellys
korner, I found that issue was caused by one of the display icons in my
list having a negative value. I used regedit and changed the -1 to 1 (in
my case) and this resolved my issue.
