I have installed a bluetooth adapter that came with Widcomm software and
upgraded it with a download from Widcomm. Now it is not recognizing my
bluetooth virtual modem and I want to uninstall it. the add/remove program
displays it and starts the remove process stating that it is configuring the
software and then it hangs and will not complete. Retry does nothing after a
half hour with same method that program is not responding. Cancel gives
message that configuration failed and program is still listed. Shutting down
the computer gives a message that rundll32 is not responding. Should I
replace the file? Or is it something else? Would a repair of XP fix it?
