Hi

From the "Run" box try

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\appwiz.cpl

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\webvw.dll

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\mshtml.dll

If this doesn't help, in the German newsgroup, one person fixed the
same type of error by reinstalling IE
http://groups.google.com/groups?selm...de%40127.0.0.1

and

The article above also tells you how to repair Internet Explorer 6.0

See tip 6032 at http://www.jsiinc.com/reghack.htm as well

If this doesn't help, try to reinstall the OS service pack you already have
installed (or install a newer one if possible).

If the problem persists, you'll could do an in-place upgrade of the OS and see
if it helps:

Hello Maurizio,

Try the following steps...
1. Click Start, click Run, and then type "CMD" (without the quotation
marks).
2. At the prompt, type "REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL" (without the quotation marks).

If that doesn't work, try the full set of steps in the following article...
