Hi all,

How do I remove orphaned entries from the add/remove screen? I've already
removed the program in one instance but the entry is still there and in
another it says it cannot remove it because a log is missing.

How do I remove those entries from the add/removescreen ?

Thanks

Pop

The prior versions of TweakUI had this but I think it is
missing in the XP version.

I found a program, free called Easy Cleaner from Toni Arts
http://www.toniarts.com/

It does the job nicely.

The Add/Remove list is taken from this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Appreciate the responses; all of them. THANK YOU to
each of you. I'm having an "interesting time" getting
some things straightened out, so I'm also taking care
of annoyances as I go along; never can tell what good
might come of it!
