Where is the Add/remove Hardware in Windows XP? There is
just Add HW icon in control panel.

There is no such feature. To remove hardware shut down the computer,
remove the device and restart Windows. Or delete the device from the
Device Manager.

Hi,

You can use the device manager to remove existing
hardwares and the add hardware wizard to add new
hardwares. the add hardware wizard can be used to
troubleshoot exisitng hardware problems.

device manager is located in control panel | System |
Hardware | Device manger.
