Hi there

I have installed a Dialogic pci telephony card
successfully into a win2k computer. The card is a D4/PCI-
U and the drivers are the new 2003-1 build 37 with sp1
and the patch for the Universal.
That aside, everytime the computer boots, the new
hardware wizard appears. The card shows in Device
manager, and is working properly.
I have tried to go through the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard
but it does not recognize the driver files from the cd or
directory.
Please let me in a few tricks that can help.

Thanks

Scott Elliott

You may have hidden (ghosted) devices for thecard in Device
Manager. You can try booting into safe mode and deleting all instances of
the card and reboot and see if that takes care of it. Here is a relevant
article:

241257 Device Manager Does Not Display Devices Not Currently Present in
Windows
