I installed a couple of programs that embedded themselves in my Outlook 2004.
I deleted them using Add/Delete Programs. Yet, they still show up on my
Outlook client. How do I remove them from Outlook?

It is really Outlook 2003!

Sounds like they haven't been uninstalled properly. See if you can find
reference to it in;
Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options-> buttom Add-in
Manager/COM Add-Ins
