I am on ms exchange, I tried to add pop3 to outlook for my gmail
account, it won't work! When I am configuring, I try to "test account
settings" and it results in failure. It says that the servers are
found but there was no response. Has anyone had these problems? I
have no typos etc in the configuration.

Contact your corporate admin, they are very likely to have set limitations
on which mail accounts can be configured. Usually, corporate environments
only allow the use of the internal email solution.
