Let's say I want to add Sally to a domain. She's already
got her profile in the PC. When I add her to the domain,
it creates a new profile for her. Her mail, desktop etc.
is gone. How do I just have everything carry over??

The easiest thing is to copy all her documents from the old profile to the
new one. Trying to get the system to use the old one will probably lead to
profile corruption. If she can still log into the local account, then
export her cookies, IE favorites, and mail settings so the can be imported
into the new profile.

Scott's correct. It's probably going to be easier for you to rebuild her
profile, move over files and such into her new profile.
