How do you want to install your new drive? Is it to replace your existing
drive or do you wand to add it to your system? What kind of drive is it?

Install the new hard drive as a slave drive..... ensure it's correctly
detected in the BIOS.

Once in Windows, right click on My Computer, select Manage. On the
following screen, click on Disk Management.... the drive will appear on the
right hand side of the screen from where you can partition it, format it and
then assign it a drive letter.

Not having a SCSI drive or zip drive, I do not know but it happily works
with a card reader and a 256mb SD card
