When I start Outlook 2007, I get two error messages involving add-ins that
are not listed, so I cannot uninstall them. I checked the registry for the
file names that are mentioned and they are not listed in the registry or on
the HDD. How do I eliminate the error message.

Where did you look in the registry, and what are the Addin names?

I searched the HKCU and HKLM. the add-ins are:

googledesktopoffice.dll and outl97.dll.

I have uninstalled both programs that are referenced.

That's not very informative. Addins are registered either under HKCU or *LM
under:

*\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins

Did you look there?

I just checked again in LM. CU for all users and they are not listed
anywhere. I did not get this error until I upgraded to MSO2007. Others in my
office are having the same issue.

Does removing the file "extend.dat" help? The file is stored in:

C:\Documentes and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application
Datas\Microsoft\Outlook
