How to Add Items to the Left-hand Pane in "Save As" (& other) Sub-windows?

Hi Everyone,
In most windows applications there is a "Save As" feature. When you click it you
see a sub-window with a left have pane that has a column with icons, "My Recent
Documents", "Desktop", Favorites", "My Network Places". I could save so much
time if I could add to that list. I managed to do it once, by accident, but I
have been unable to replicate that method, whatever it was. Can anyone help me
with this?
Thanks You,
-plh

That column is called the Places Bar. In most Windows apps, you're limited
to 5 places. AFAIK, you can't have more than five. You can change them from
the default locations using TweakUI from Microsoft. TweakUI is available
here.

In Office programs, you can add up to 256 locations to the Places Bar. Take
a look at this article for more info.
