Add-ins not working properly

I have previously downloaded the calendar printing assistant add-in for
outlook, and it gave me some problems. I ended up having to reinstall office
2007.

Now I have downloaded the Fed Ex add-in for outlook, thinking that coming
from a more reputable source maybe it would work better. But it kept giving
me an error message so I disabled the add-in.

Has anyone else had these problems with add-ins?

Why should FedEx be 'a reputable source' for Outlook addins?

My guess is that addins from companies, for which Outlook is just one of
many applications to support, cause most of the trouble.

Have you contacted the supplier of the addin? Maybe they can easily solve
the issue.
