This only started happening about a week ago. I will have to stop using IE -
I can't live without my Google toolbar!. And I'm sure many people use add-ins
when they open IE from office. I have changed my default browser to firefox
to get around the problem. But I would like a solution for my customers who
use IE.

Is there any way to change the new apparently default behaviour whereby IE
now opens with add-ons disabled if you open from an e-mail link?

Please read this carefullly I am not asking how to enable/disable individual
add-ons. This is a blanket disabling done by IE when you acccess from an
e-mail link (Office 2007 in my case). Microsoft's help says you need to
access from your desktop to get add-ons and yes this worksOK. See this
copied from help.:

" Why am I getting a message saying I'm running without add-ons when I start
Internet Explorer?
This message appears when Internet Explorer is opened with add-ons disabled.
To run Internet Explorer normally (with add-ons turned on), make sure to
select Internet Explorer on the Start menu and do not click Internet Explorer
(No Add-ons).
"

May be I'm doing something wrong but its worked (showed add-ins when opened
from Outlook) for a couple of years or so and I didn't change anything as far
as I know!
