Hi Frendly Discussion Group,

I'm tearing my (thinning) hair out trying to find a way to link a meeting in
a BCM contacts History Item field to a group schedule calander. I have the
group schedule for our board room set up in the Public Folder of our Exchange
2003 server and can schedule appointments normally with it. I cannot find any
way to schedule a meeting request for the calander through the Appointment
tab in the Contact history.

My company is trying to streamline to BCM, but the only work around to this
is to have everybodies calanders shared to work out group sheduling by
comparison of meeting location. Not an elegant solution.

If anybody can help me it will be greatly appreciated as this is about the
last resource I've tried before scrapping BCM altogether.

Thanks for your help,

Rob

Bob, there are several comercially-available addins for Outlook on the
market, but only a few will do, natively, what you want to do. In its v2
release, BCM still doesn't handle this well as you have discovered.

Check out these sites. You may find one of these addins fits your needs well.

www.avidian.com
www.salesoutlook.net
www.teamscope.com

I'm not sure about the others, but I've been told that the higher end
edition of SalesOutlook offers a built-in feature that consolidates
everyone's calendars in a public folder.
