I use the Format Painter button all the time in Word and Excel, but would
like to have it available on my Outlook 2003 toolbar.

I don't see the option when I try to customize my Outlook toolbar. However,
Microsoft Online help says Outlook 2003 has that option. How is it done?

Check - Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich Text e-mail messages.
OK

Next....

Create New Message

Right Click anywhere on the toolbar - select 'Customize'
(Note: If 'Customise' is greyed out cancel, click the text window, and repeat)

Select - Commands Tab
Select - Format
In the right pane scroll down to the Format Painter
Drag and Drop icon onto your toolbar

You need to use Word as your editor - open a new mail message and right
click on the toolbar area and choose customize. format painter is under the
Format category - find it and drag to a toolbar.
