I have built a web form that writes to a Access database
using the frontpage 2002 database connection wizard. Now I
would like to add a field that writes to the database.

I have created a field called "group" in the Access
database, how do I add the entry on my form so that it
writes the result without starting over?

It would have been better to have added the field to the form first, and
then let the DRW add the field to the database.

I realize that. However the form has been in use for some
time and now the department that collects the data needs
this new entry. The form is huge so starting over is not
an option.

Anyone have a constructive answer?

maybe I misunderstood your answer...

If I delete the entry in the database, then add the field
named 'group' to the form, will it automatically write
the field to the database??? That dont sound right...also
when I Publish this page again, wont it overwrite all the
entries that are already entered in the database?
