I updated McAfee to the 2008 version and every time I open Outlook, I get
"The Add-in 'Exchange Scan' (C:\Program Files\Network
Associates\VirusScan\scanemal.ddl) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by
Outlook. Please contact manufacturer for an update" etc. That was the old
program that was de-installed. I looked for Add-ins but the one related to
this error does not show up. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

With Outlook closed, try deleting the file extend.dat in the (usually hidden)
folder %userProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (on
Windows XP) or %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook (on Windows Vista).
