Here is the trick needed, to set up the Hotmail etc account in WM.
Start with a new account setup and use
(E-Mail Removed)
Setup the account with the correct server, port and SSL settings, save
it, ignore errors, then go back and enter the correct email address
and
(E-Mail Removed) or msn.com or live.com
Try the following settings for Hotmail or Live accounts?
POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995)
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example
(E-Mail Removed)
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows
Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25 or 587)
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes
