How to add "Downloads" to my start menu ?

Hi,

In the right part of my start-menu, I already have :
- documents
- pictures
- music
- games
- favorites

How can I add "Downloads" ?

Hi,

You cannot. The Documenst, Pictures etc are all hard-coded options under
the Star Menu properties. You can turn these features on or off, but you
cannot add new ones to the list.

You could however add the Downloads folder to the left-hand column of the
Start menu:
- right-click your desktop and select New, Shortcut.
- create a shortcut pointing to your Downloads folder.
- call the shortcut "Downloads"
- after the new shortcut has been created, left-click it and drag dow to the
Start button
- after a short delay, the Start menu will appear
- now move the Downloads icons up to the top of the left-hand column,
between Internet Explorer and Mail
- release the left mouse button.

C'est voila! You now have a Start menu entry, pointing towards your
Downloads folder.

Find the shortcut in Start>all programs, right click and click "Pin to
start menu". Viola!
