Hello,

When I delete a file from a network location the file is
automatically deleted (after confirming) but it is never
added to the recycle bin on my local machine. Is there
any way to change this so it is added to the recycle bin
on my local machine. Also, it isn't added to the recycle
bin on the networked machine is it????

Any help would be appreciated.

-Dave

I'm not sure what your budget is but I forked out the $ for Undelete Server
from Executive Software and my users have thanked me MANY times.

Hello Louis,

Thanks for the info on this.

I was hoping there would be some type of switch or
registry tweak you could do to accomplish this but I guess
not.

We do a databackup on a tape drive of all our servers on a
weekly basis and this is probably going to be the best we
can do since I have a budget constraint.

I appreciate the answer though, sometimes just getting
a "its not possible" is better than waiting and never
receiving a reply.

Well, techinically it is possible, but not with windows
alone.
