Add/Delete files menue has disappeared

I am unsure exactly what happened but when i go to my
add/delete files to delete a program I have no directory.
I do not know how this happened but need some help to
restore it. I have an important program that became
corrupted so i need to delete it and reinstall. that is
no problem but I cannot uninstall it. Please assist me in
finding some sort of a solution.
