If I am in Windows Explorer in w2k I see several "file
attributes". Among them (if I right click and select it)
is "Comment". How can I add a comment? In XP it is
possible from the "summary" tab. What about w2k? I don't
want to talk about third party programs
like "ExplorerNotes & Powerdesk".

Within Windows 2000 - Depending on the type of file you
are accessing you can access a Summary page for a file by
right-clicking on the file itself and selecting
Properties. If the file type supprts it there will be a
Summary tab where you can enter Comments. Some file types
do not offer a Summary tab (an example would be URL
shortcuts and HTML files). Hope this helps.
