add authenticated rss feed to outlook 2007

How do I add a rss feed to outlook 2007 that is fed from a https
authenticated wiki site?
I have been been advised to use the format
http://USERNAME:(E-Mail Removed)....xmlp?v=rss_2_0 but I have had
no success implementing Outlook 2007.
